- 3 to 9 Board of Directors Needed
- Non-employee director may hold a term for 3 yrs and can only be elected for two consecutive terms
- Board of Directors appoints officers with a minimum of President, Secretary and Treasury.
Job Descriptions
- President: Direct and manage organization business, oversee budget and funding, call and lead Directors meetings and develop strategy for organizational growth. Assist in identifying and scheduling speakers for member meetings. Lead corporation business for the non-profit entity.
- Vice-President: Assist president in completing organizational tasks, provide back-up to the president and assist in identifying and scheduling speakers.
- Secretary: Document organization's business activities, maintain organizational documents and record official information for the non-profit corporation.
- Treasurer: Maintain records of membership, membership dues, corporation finances and banking. Communicate new membership information to Membership Director.
- Membership: Maintain membership records, promote membership to inventors and their supporters and implement strategies to increase membership.
- Marketing: Publish notices in local papers and media outlets for monthly meetings and develop communication plans for membership growth.
- Communications: Gather and communicate information that may be of interest to the membership.
